1. Agreement
This End User License Agreement (“Agreement”) is a legal contract between you (“User”) and EscapeWork (“Licensor”). By installing, accessing, or using SwiftDeck (“Software”), you agree to be bound by this Agreement.
2. License Grant
EscapeWork grants you a:
- Personal
- Non-exclusive
- Non-transferable
- Revocable
license to use the Software. This license is granted, not sold.
3. License Type, Machine Limit & Transfers
- This is a single-user, single-machine license. The Software may be active on only one machine at a time.
- You may install the Software on multiple machines, but only one machine may have an active (validated) license at any given time.
- To transfer your license to a new machine, you must deactivate it from the current machine first.
- Deactivation limit: one deactivation per 12-month license period is permitted. No additional deactivations will be granted.
- The same email address and license key must be used for all activations.
- License sharing, multi-user access, and unauthorized distribution are strictly prohibited.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your license key and preventing unauthorized use.
4. Subscription & Renewal
- SwiftDeck is sold as an annual subscription. Your license is valid for 12 months from the date of activation.
- The subscription does not auto-renew. Renewal requires a separate purchase.
- Upon expiry, the Software will cease to validate and features will be unavailable until the license is renewed.
- EscapeWork will send renewal reminder emails before your expiry date. You are responsible for renewing before expiry to avoid interruption.
- Renewal pricing is subject to change. The price displayed at the time of renewal applies.
5. Trial Version
- A 14-day free trial may be provided for evaluation. One trial per email address per machine.
- Upon expiry of the trial, continued use requires purchase of a valid license.
6. Permitted Use
You may:
- Use the Software for personal or commercial work
- Install on your own devices (subject to Section 3)
- Create one backup copy
7. Restrictions
You may NOT:
- Share your license key with others
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software
- Modify or create derivative works
- Resell, lease, sublicense, or distribute the Software
- Remove or alter proprietary notices or labels
8. Activation & System Requirements
The Software requires:
- Internet access for license activation and periodic validation
- Microsoft PowerPoint (compatible version) on Windows
The Software stores configuration data locally on your machine. If EscapeWork ceases operation and the validation server becomes permanently unavailable, your license will continue to function until the expiry date stored locally on your machine. No perpetual offline operation is guaranteed beyond that date.
9. Data & Privacy
The Software collects limited data including:
- License and activation information
- A machine fingerprint hash — used for license binding only; derived from hardware identifiers, not linked to your identity beyond your account
- Anonymous feature usage events — feature name and add-in version only, no user identifier
- Server-side error reports — captured when our API encounters an exception; no personal data from request bodies

10. Updates & Modifications
EscapeWork may release updates or new versions of the Software and reserves the right to modify or discontinue features at any time.
11. Fees & Refunds
- A 14-day free trial is provided for evaluation before purchase
- All purchases are final and non-refundable once a license key is issued or activated
- You are expected to fully evaluate the Software during the trial period before purchasing
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Software is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. EscapeWork disclaims all implied warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Nothing in this Agreement limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, EscapeWork shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption. EscapeWork's total liability to you shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You are responsible for maintaining appropriate backups of your data and presentations.
14. Support
Support is provided on a best-effort basis via email at support@escapework.in. Support is not guaranteed and is subject to change or discontinuation without notice.
15. Termination
This Agreement terminates automatically upon breach. EscapeWork reserves the right to revoke your license key upon breach without refund. Upon termination, you must stop using the Software and delete all copies.
16. Intellectual Property
All rights, title, and interest in and to the Software remain exclusively with EscapeWork. No ownership rights are transferred by this Agreement.
17. Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.
18. Entire Agreement
This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between you and EscapeWork regarding the Software and supersedes all prior agreements and understandings.
19. Severability
If any provision of this Agreement is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
