1. Agreement
This End User License Agreement (“Agreement”) is a legal contract between you (“User”) and EscapeWork (“Licensor”). By installing, accessing, or using SwiftDeck (“Software”), you agree to be bound by this Agreement.
2. License Grant
EscapeWork grants you a:
- Personal
- Non-exclusive
- Non-transferable
- Revocable
license to use the Software. This license is granted, not sold.
3. License Type & Usage
- This is a single-user license
- The Software may be installed on multiple devices only if used exclusively by the same user
- The user may transfer usage between devices only after deactivating the license from the previous device
- The same email/license identity must be used for activation
Any form of:
- License sharing
- Multi-user access
- Unauthorized distribution
is strictly prohibited.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your license key and preventing unauthorized use.
4. Trial Version
- A 14-day free trial may be provided for evaluation
- The trial may include feature limitations
- Upon expiry, continued use requires purchase of a valid license
5. Permitted Use
You may:
- Use the Software for personal or commercial work
- Install on your own devices (subject to Section 3)
- Create one backup copy
6. Restrictions
You may NOT:
- Share license credentials
- Reverse engineer or decompile
- Modify or create derivative works
- Resell, lease, or distribute the Software
- Remove proprietary notices
7. Activation & System Requirements
The Software may:
- Require internet access for activation or validation
- Store configuration data locally
- Require compatible Microsoft PowerPoint and Windows environment
8. Data & Privacy
The Software may collect limited data including:
- License and activation information
- Device fingerprint (used for machine-binding only — not linked to your identity beyond your account)
- Anonymous feature usage events (feature name + add-in version only — no user identifier)
- Server-side error reports (captured when our API encounters an exception — no personal data from request bodies)
This data is used for:
- License validation and enforcement
- Understanding which features are most useful (product improvement)
- Server stability monitoring and error diagnosis

9. Updates & Modifications
EscapeWork may:
- Release updates or new versions
- Modify or discontinue features at any time
10. Fees & Refunds
- A 14-day trial is provided for evaluation before purchase
- All purchases are final and non-refundable once a license is issued or activated
- Users are expected to fully evaluate the Software during the trial period before purchasing
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Software is provided “as is” without any warranties.
Nothing in this Agreement limits any rights that may apply under local consumer protection laws.
EscapeWork disclaims all implied warranties including:
- Merchantability
- Fitness for purpose
- Non-infringement
12. Limitation of Liability
EscapeWork shall not be liable for:
- Indirect or consequential damages
- Loss of data, profits, or business
Liability is limited to the amount paid in the last 12 months.
You are responsible for maintaining appropriate backups of your data.
13. Support
Support is:
- Provided on a best-effort basis
- Not guaranteed
- Subject to change or discontinuation
14. Termination
This Agreement terminates automatically if violated.
Upon termination:
- You must stop using the Software
- Delete all copies
15. Intellectual Property
All rights remain with EscapeWork. No ownership is transferred.
16. Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.
17. Entire Agreement
This document constitutes the full agreement.
18. Severability
If any clause is invalid, the rest remain enforceable.
